PRO-TIP! If you use the Cloudamize Agent data collector, you’ll be able to automatically install CSP migration agents (e.g. AWS’ MGN agent) from within the Cloudamize Platform – saving time and money during the migration phase.
Cloudamize recommends Agent as the primary data collection method, as it’s the highest resolution data collection method and it enables auto-installation of migration tools like AWS’ MGN agent. Agentless is a great option where Agent cannot be installed. Read more here.

Cloudamize enables a quick connection to vCenter to aid in the collection of data. This can be used to produce a high-resolution TCO, but does not contain application dependency data. So an Agent is recommend for Customers looking to use the data as part of a full migration
